Machine Translation Data ( MTD)

The objective of the MTD is to support research in technologies of machine translation (MT) and cross-lingual information retrieval by providing kinds of multilingual MT data. All the data was specially collected and translated by human experts. The data is aligned at the sentence level and stored in text files. At present time, there are two large MTD under processing and the types and numbers of projects can be increased upon request:

    1. Chinese-English-Japanese-Korean Parallel Machine Translation data of 200,000 sentence pairs from the fields of Daily life, Travel, Sport and finance.
    2. Chinese-English SMS Parallel Machine Translation data of 600,000 sentence pairs from real Chinese daily life short messages.
